Origins
Septarian is like a time capsule, holding millions of years of history and wisdom within its stunning swirls. This unique crystal is a mix of Aragonite, Calcite, and Limestone, each element contributing to its gorgeous color palette. The golden hues of Calcite, the earthy brown of Aragonite, and the cool grey outer layer of Limestone all combine to create a visual masterpiece.

Meaning
Septarian – a stone as ancient as the Earth itself. Its name comes from “Septaria,” referring to the unique cracks and cavities within this geological marvel. Formed over 50 to 70 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period, Septarian’s roots run deep in history. Sea life, drawn to molten sediment from volcanic eruptions, became trapped in this sedimentary rock. Over time, their remains crystallized into what we now recognize as Aragonite “crusts” and Calcite crystals.

Septarian is a grounding powerhouse. This stone connects you to Mother Earth’s nurturing energy, helping you shed old habits and embrace new practices that serve your highest good.
