Astrophyllite is a very rare potassium, iron, titanium, manganese, sodium, silicate mineral. It is an uncommon stone, it was first found in 1854 on Laven Island in Norway. It gets its name from the Greek words astron meaning 'star' and 'phyllon' meaning leaf, which refers to its radiating bladed formation. The metallic flashes of gold within the dark stone look like stars.
Astrophyllite is a multidimensional stone that helps one connect to realms beyond our own understanding. Said to have a tranquil, authentic and sincere energy, it is also called the 'Marriage Stone'.
