Aragonite is a mineral made up of calcium carbonate. It usually forms in the deposits of hot springs or stalactites and is found in colorless orthorhombic prisms. It can also be found lining the shells of mollusks.
This stone is particularly useful in times of stress. It helps to prepare for meditation and stabilises spiritual development.
Aragonite is also believed by many to be connected to the enigmatic earth star chakra. This special chakra is said to be located not on the physical body but deep beneath our feet.
