Indigo Gabbro, also known as Mystic Merlinite, is a combination mineral discovered in Madagascar and a small amount has been found in Alaska. It is volcanic in origin, limiting the locations in which it can occur. These rocks are created when molten magma is confined beneath the Earth's surface and cools into a crystalline mass. It is composed of feldspar, Quartz, igneous rock, and other minerals.
